Information with regard to the processing of personal data

Our intention is to provide you with information with regard to how Motorola Mobility, Inc. and any affiliates or successors thereto as ("Motorola") will process any received personal data related to its offered service Aloqa ("Aloqa"). Motorola is the controller of personal data and the processing will be carried out in accordance with the German Data Protection Act.

Personal data, such as your name, e-mail address and cell phone number, may be collected in different situations. Either you voluntarily provide Motorola with such personal data in order for Motorola to be able to offer a variety of personally adjusted services to you via Aloqa, or, you will be asked to provide such personal data in connection with signing up as a user for Aloqa. Accordingly, personal data is collected in order for Motorola to provide a specific service. Anonymous data, such as user statistics, is automatically collected in order for Motorola to improve its offered services.

Motorola may use the information received from you in order to offer you other services within Motorola's software products or services that we think may interest you. However, you may choose not to receive such information when by informing Motorola in writing that you do not wish to receive such information. The most convenient way to do this by sending an email to privacy@aloqa.com.

The information received will only be used for the purposes stated above. The information may be forwarded to third parties both within and outside the EU to be used for the same purposes. Your contact information will always remain at Motorola. We do not provide contact or identifying information to third parties, including advertisers, marketers or other users without your permission.We will correct the information if it is out of date or incorrect in any other way.

Your use of Aloqa and any disputes arising from it, is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Use and all of its dispute resolution provisions including arbitration, limitation on damages and choice of law. We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use at any time. Non-material changes and clarifications will take effect immediately, and material changes will take effect within 30 days of their posting on this site. If we make changes, we will post them and will indicate at the top of this page the policy's new effective date. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, or through notice on our home page www.aloqa.com. We encourage you to refer to this policy on an ongoing basis so that you understand our current privacy policy. Unless stated otherwise, our current privacy policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account.

By using Aloqa and providing us with personal data you agree to the way Motorola collects and processes your personal data as described above.
